Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress has once again postponed its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting, which was scheduled for this afternoon. The meeting has now been rescheduled for 2 pm on Sunday.

In a press release, Party Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel informed that office bearers, CWC members, invited members, and the chairpersons of all seven provincial working committees have been instructed to attend the meeting on the new date. However, the statement did not clarify the reason behind the latest postponement.

The repeated delays have drawn sharp criticism, with many accusing the country’s largest party of causing unnecessary drama. Observers and party insiders say the postponements appear aimed at prolonging proceedings to avoid holding the general convention that was expected within the month of Mangsir.
